More regulation for Hedge Funds

In my blog yesterday, I mentioned the increased regulation for RIAs … well their not the only ones facing the heat of increased scrutiny and regulations as Hedge Funds are also under the gun. Hedge Funds have been blamed partially for the financial crisis with their investments, methodology of shorting etc. There is currently an 80 page document being presented as a reform to the Hedge Fund regulation. These increased regulations will increase the compliance burden of Hedge Funds, but nothing more than what other large financial institutions are currently doing.
