According to the National Stock Exchange the number of ETFs has increased over 11% since October of 2008. Including ETNs – Exchange Traded Notes it totals to 880 Listed ETF/ETNs. The industry is rapidly expanding. October NSX data states that more than $707 billion is invested in ETF funds.

Bulls In Charge

For how long thought? Driven strongly by Ford’s newly released profits of $1 billion, market is up over 70 points in the last half hour of trading.  Investors were pleasantly surprised by strong reports on manufacturing and housing.  Early this morning Dow was up as much as 146 points.
